Sculpted from a massive block of basalt, the Marubachi Fountain is a merger of organic and geometric forms. We alternate the naturally weathered sides with saw cuts that polish to a deep black, creating a dramatic contrast. Each fountain is unique; size, color, and shape will vary.
Please note that due to the natural weathering of the stone over millions of years, you may experience some minimal spalling or flaking off of small pieces of the natural facets. Our basalt material has some non-structural inclusions that appear as thin white lines in the natural material.
Given the size and weight of these pieces, it is recommended to use a custom reservoir for this installation. This must be designed and installed by a qualified professional.
Lift gate service is not available for individual items over 2000 pounds. You will need a way to offload the truck on-site.
